We have a similar approach and process in prepping all used fitness equipment we sell, and have confidence that any machine ordered from us will be visually appeasing - even to more critical individuals - and last a lifetime in a home. To show the confidence we have in our equipment to the customer, all used equipment includes a free 90 day parts & labor warranty, along with the option of purchasing an extended 3 year parts & labor warranty. Condition: UsedMost of the 'Used' fitness equipment we sell has been in very good condition since the day it was obtained by us. Most were previously used in non-commercial environments, and they generally have under 1,000 hours of use. These machines are fully inspected by us, and parts are replaced on an as needed basis. Generally, touch up paint is applied for scratches and other wear in the paint. Worn Vinyl / Rubber parts are sometimes replaced, and other times are covered with matching material in a professional, neat, symmetrical manner. All machines are cleaned and serviced, which is a different process depending on the type of equipment. But in general, servicing consists of applying appropriate lubes and waxes on various parts of the machine. Also, we remove plastic covers to clean and detail the machine inside out. Condition: RefurbishedMost of the 'Refurbished' fitness equipment we sell was previously used in a commercial environment, and in need of mechanical and/or cosmetic repairs when we first obtained it. The refurbishing process consists of everything that the 'Used' Equipment above consists of, and more. Many times, the paint is worn and rust is present, and occasionally rampant. Getting these machines to a condition that is visually appeasing in a home takes time - sometimes up to 30 hours. We thoroughly sand the worn paint and rust to the point that any rust not only disappears, but won't come back. After priming the worn spots, we ad up to several layers of paint. Worn mechanical parts are replaced as needed to insure functionality and longevity. Due to the extensive work, our 'Refurbished' equipment takes 2-3 weeks to ship - a week longer than 'Used' Equipment. The end result of all of our fitness equipment is similar, and the final product is going to be the same. From a customers perspective, the 'Used' vs 'Refurbished' label help give a brief overview of the history of the machine. Our extended warranty prices are based on the type of machine (Treadclimbers: $399, Ellipticals: $299, etc.), not the condition. Condition: NewThis equipment is New with Original Factory Packaging, and includes the Full Manufacturers Warranty. We are authorized by Life Fitness and Nautilus (which includes Bowflex, Schwinn Fitness, & Universal Brands) as New Fitness Equipment Dealers.
