The French Fitness Open Hex Olympic Trap Shrug Bar is a powerful addition to any professional or home gym. Features an open frame design that allows the user to perform a variety of exercises that would be practically difficult with a traditional hex bar or a typical Powerlifting barbell. Farmers' walks and walking lunges can be performed by athletes without being hindered by a rear cross-member. The hex frame distributes the load equally across the body and less load is placed on the lower lumbar region. With built-in deadlift jacks, it is very simple to load and unload plates by rotating the bar vertically until it is resting on the jacks' foot. The long weight plate sleeve enables athletes to dramatically raise the load of the barbell perfect for shrugs, squats, and deadlifts.
