The revolutionary Four Minute Workout is the most time effective aerobic workout ever developed. It is built around the innovative ROM Time Machine which allows to cut back effective workout time to just 4 minutes. Flexibility is defined as the allowed range of motion at any given joint throughout the skeletal and muscular structures. I remember seeing this machine being advertised decades ago in Sky Mall, the magazine that was included in most seat backs when you flew commercially.  My first thought is that there is no way you can get a good work out in only 4 minutes.  The machine was elegant looking and very expensive.   Flash forward to today.  I work out daily at a weight loss center, where they feature one of these machines.  If you truly try hard and set it to a challenging level, you will receive an incredible workout.  Believe it or not, I'm starting to see ab muscles, which I attribute to the rowing part of the machine.  I'm up to level 20 on both the rowing and stepping, but I'm exhausted after doing each exercise.  This is my favorite machine and I highly recommend it.

Not all Gyms have this equipment - but my local fitness center does and today the owner walked me through, step by step, and showed/told me how to use it.  
Form is everything!  I had to be corrected in my form several times and I still managed to reach 63% of the recommended range.  Like any other exercise equipment, if you don't use it - it won't work.  If you use it incorrectly, you can hurt yourself.
I was very pleased with the machine and was advised to work on my form before trying to work on speed - good advice.  I am going to be using the 4-minute workout alternating upper & lower body daily.  
The lower body is like steps and stepping is a great cardio for anyone.  Again I was told to work on form first.

The ROM has two operating positions. One is seated used for strength, flexibility and calorie burning. The second is upright designed for developing lung capacity through a stepping motion. 4 minutes on the sitting area one day and 4 minutes on the standing area the next day. The machine uses a fly wheel and your weight to provide the resistance. With Medical Doctors approval any adult can use it from beginner to professional athlete.  I used it and was amazed at the design and the challenge.
