You may also add to your purchase the French Fitness Rubber Flooring Ramps Beveled Edge Transition Strip 12mm (sold in feet) to help you gradually transition between rubber/vinyl mats and the regular floor. This transition strip ensures a smooth, safe, and seamless connection between floors of varying heights, minimizing tripping hazards and enhancing the overall appearance of your flooring installation. Additionally, it will likely enhance the durability of the mats by reducing wear at the edges. Available as optional add-on if you wish to add this to your cart.

Does French Fitness Rubber Interlocking Tiles Gym Flooring have a rubber odor / smell?

All French Fitness Dumbbells, Olympic Plates, & Flooring, will have a rubber smell when you take them out of the box. This subsides over the coming weeks. We rarely receive complaints regarding the rubber smell, but it has happened. We advise customers to give it 2-3 weeks, and the rubber smell will fade away. The reason is that these items are new in factory boxes and have likely been in those boxes for months. Once they are opened, you may notice the rubber smell, but if they've been on a rack for more than 2-3 weeks, the smell will go away.
