Warranty

10 Years Parts, 1 Year Labor for USA & Canada for all French Fitness equipment excluding free weights, flooring, and accessories. 1-Year Limited Warranty for gym accessories, free weights, and flooring.

Warranty terms may vary depending on the usage, whether the equipment will be used in your home or in a commercial setting.

Commercial Grade Product Warranty

Intended for gyms, health clubs, and fitness centers, where a high volume of users will be utilizing the equipment continuously throughout the day.

Light Commercial Grade Product Warranty

Intended for settings like schools, police stations, hospitals, rehab centers, and hotels, where usage is expected to be around 2-4 hours per day.

Warranty is void when the equipment is used in high-traffic commercial settings.

Home Use Product Warranty

Tailored for personal use within home settings. With a usage recommendation of under one hour per day, these products are designed for individual or small-group workouts.

Warranty is void when the product is used in light commercial and commercial settings.

USA & Canada Warranty Terms

1. For customers within the USA and Canada, the warranty covers ALL parts for a period 10 years from the date of purchase.
2. The warranty also covers labor for a period 1 year from the date of purchase.
3. Types of equipment covered by the 10 years parts warranty and 1 year labor warranty are cardio equipment, gym systems, racks and cages, plate loaded equipment, benches, selectorized equipment, and storage racks.
4. Gym accessories, free weights, and flooring come with a 1 year limited parts warranty. If an item becomes non-functional due to breakage, we will replace it free of charge. Please note that cosmetic defects (such as chunks of rubber missing), gashes, and other wear and tear are not covered unless reported within 7 days of receipt of the items.
5. Cosmetic defects are covered for the first 7 days upon receipt of the items.
6. Labor warranty is extendable for $100/year on strength equipment and $150/year on cardio equipment.

How to Redeem Your French Fitness Warranty

Step 1: Contact us to initiate the warranty claim process. Send us relevant photos or videos of the damage. We will then evaluate the best solution to address your concerns.

Step 2: Our support team will confirm that we have received your queries within 24 hours, and will respond with the course of action shortly afterwards.

Step 3: We will assess the necessary repairs and provide the required parts and detailed instructions. If the machine is no longer covered by the labor warranty, we will guide you through the installation or repair process. Alternatively, upon request, we can recommend qualified technicians in your area to handle the labor.

Step 4: If your machine is covered by labor warranty, a technician will be dispatched within 1-2 weeks of receiving a service request.

• Northern California: Warranty service will be performed by our in-house technicians.
• Outside Northern California: Warranty service will be performed by a trusted member of our nationwide network of technicians.

Note 1: The warranty will be void if the customer fails to show up for a scheduled service call, unless they pay the technician directly. A trip charge will apply once the technician is dispatched. If the customer fails to show for a scheduled service call and does not communicate with the technician, they will be responsible for the trip charge.

Note 2: If we send parts under the warranty, we will cover all shipping charges for warrantied parts. The customer also agrees to return any unused, defective, or old parts using the provided return shipping label. Failure to return parts replaced will void the warranty.

Inclusions

The warranty covers the following:

• This warranty covers any mechanical or electronic issues that prevent the machine from functioning like new.
• Full coverage for all parts replacement, including structural moving parts such as bearings, pulleys, cables, motors, and batteries, if they cause the machine to malfunction.
• Coverage for wearable parts heart rate monitors, pedals, treadmill decks, running belts, track wheels, and similar components, if they cause the machine to malfunction.
• Coverage for software issues such as error screen messages, program malfunctions, and console resets.
• Within the USA and Canada, 100% labor costs coverage, including unlimited on-site technician diagnostic and repair visits.

Exclusions

The warranty does not cover the following:

1. Improper Use and Physical Damage:
   • Mechanical, software, and cosmetic issues resulting from improper use, physical damage, or actions contrary to the operational manual.
   • Damage caused by disassembling or reassembling the machine.
2. Cosmetic Defects:
   • Scratches, broken plastic, peeling stickers/logos/overlays, discoloration, and similar cosmetic issues, unless present upon receipt.
   • If cosmetic defects are present upon arrival, contact us within one week of delivery. Failure to do so will result in the issue not being covered.
3. Environmental Damage:
   • Damage from water, fire, heat, wind, or other elements, such as leaving the machine outdoors. Outdoor exposure accelerates wear and deterioration. Garage settings may be covered by the warranty.
4. Total Loss:
   • The warranty is void if the product or major parts are reported as stolen, missing, or lost.
5. Unauthorized Purchases:
   • The warranty does not extend to products not purchased from the French Fitness website or an authorized French Fitness reseller.
6. Accident and Misuse:
   • Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, or abuse.
   • Damage caused by parts not manufactured or sold by us.
   • Damage from product modifications.
   • Damage from service by anyone other than us or an authorized warranty service provider.
   • Damage from failure to provide necessary care as outlined in the owner's manual. The customer is responsible for reasonable and necessary maintenance including proper cleaning and lubrication.
7. Defaced Serial Number:
   • The warranty does not cover products with removed, altered, or defaced serial numbers.
8. Service Calls and Customer Instruction:
   • The warranty does not cover service calls for operating instructions, installation, setup, or adjustments.
9. Ineligible Warranty Service:
   • If a product submitted for warranty service is found ineligible, an estimate of repair cost will be provided. Repairs will be made upon customer request and receipt of payment or acceptable payment arrangements.

Additional Warranty Costs

Additional warranty costs will be incurred when:

• Canceling a service appointment after the service provider is already en route to your location or failing to cancel at all.
• Misplacing parts or causing delays for the service provider due to customer-related issues.
• Not being present or unable to provide access to the equipment when the service provider arrives, resulting in idle time.
• Providing incorrect address information, leading to reshipment of parts.
• Losing parts or failing to return requested parts.
• French Fitness reserves the right to charge additional fees to the customer for any of the above reasons.

Additional Terms & Restrictions

• To qualify for warranty coverage, the customer must present the sales receipt showing the date of purchase. This document will serve as your “proof-of-purchase”. Any evidence of alteration, erasure, or forgery of the proof-of-purchase documents will void this warranty.
• The warranty period begins once the product has been delivered and received by the customer.
• The warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
• This warranty is valid only if the product is assembled and installed according to the product’s instructions and manual.

International Warranty Terms

1. Outside the USA and Canada, the warranty covers all parts for 3 years from the date of purchase.
2. Labor is not included in this warranty.
3. Gym accessories and free weights come with a 30-day warranty. If an item becomes non-functional due to breakage, we will replace it free of charge. Please note that cosmetic defects (such as chunks of rubber missing), gashes, and other wear and tear are not covered unless reported within 7 days of receipt of the items.
4. Cosmetic defects are covered for the first 7 days upon receipt of the items.
5. We provide phone and email support with technicians who can assist you in diagnosing issues and guiding you through the installation of replacement parts.
6. If we send parts under the warranty, we will cover all shipping charges for warrantied parts. The customer also agrees to return any unused, defective, or old parts using the provided return shipping label. Failure to return parts replaced will void the warranty.

Disclaimer

Except as explicitly stated in this warranty, we make no other warranties, either express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We expressly disclaim all warranties not outlined in this warranty. Any implied warranties imposed by law are limited to the terms of this warranty.

Neither French Fitness nor our affiliates shall be liable for incidental or consequential damages.

For customers residing in states that do not permit limitations on the duration of implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, the above limitations may not apply to you.

This warranty provides you with specific legal rights, and you may have additional rights that vary by state. This is the sole express warranty applicable to French Fitness branded products. We do not assume nor authorize anyone to assume any other express warranty on our behalf.

Transportation Times for Fedex / Parcel Deliveries (Without an Assembly Option): 1-6 Business Days to the lower 48 States, and longer outside of the lower 48 USA states.
