The Cybex Upper Body Ergometer (UBE) produce accommodating resistance at fixed speeds. Each unit automatically adjusts to match the force applied so that muscles can be safely loaded to their full capability at every point throughout the range of motion. When you move slower than the set speed, there is no resistance. When you attempt to go above the set speed, the resistance is progressively increased. The important force/resistance synergy provided by Cybex Isokinetic Ergometers means that anyone, from a world class athlete to an acute stage orthopedic patient, can easily achieve ideal intensity levels on the same machine, at the same speed setting. Cybex's isokinetic design provides the flexibility fitness and health professionals demand. Interval training, with alternating high and low intensity segments at a single speed, develops superior strength and power. Velocity spectrum training is achieved through multiple segments at slow, moderate and high speeds.
